Community Coaching and Community Engagement Building skills, confidence, and community — one outing at a time. What is Community Coaching and Community Engagement ? Community Coaching offers personalized, one-on-one support to help individuals thrive in their local surroundings. Whether mastering grocery shopping or exploring a park, our staff provides side-by-side guidance. Additionally, Community Engagement is a shared support service with a 2+:1 ratio, meaning one coach supports two or more individuals at a time, creating more opportunities for social connection and community involvement. These services services are covered under Virginia's Developmental Disability (DD) Waivers.
